OPERATING MANUAL
REFLEKS™ HP/MD SERIES
HP/MD1015 – HP/MD1025 – HP/MD1035

IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ THIS OPERATING MANUAL IN ITS ENTIRETY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO OPERATE THIS UNIT.

This manual is intended to cover the operating and programming features of the REFLEKS HP/MD Series.  Each REFLEKS HP/MD unit should include this operating manual, a wall mount battery-charging unit, external battery pack, warranty card and protective case.  If the RS232 option was elected, a cabling system and software diskette or CD should also be included.

CARE OF YOUR REFLEKS UNIT

Failure to observe operating procedures and/or care of your REFLEKS unit could void your warranty.

•  Do not immerse the REFLEKS unit for cleaning.  Use only mild detergents and a damp cloth.

•  Never operate the unit directly from the battery charger unit.   Over voltage damage may occur.  You may operate the unit via battery power while the charger is plugged into the battery pack.  This applies only while programming or downloading information from the unit.

•  Dust and dirt on the fiber optic connector ends may impair signal strength.  Always stow the cable end in the saddle on top of the unit while not in use to avoid contamination of, and physical damage to, the cable ends.

•  Avoid operating your REFLEKS HP/MD unit outdoors during wet weather conditions.  The REFLEKS HP/MD is weather resistant but not weather proof.  If the unit becomes wet, wipe away excess moisture with a dry cloth.  Allow to dry thoroughly before attempting to operate.

•  Always take care to handle your REFLEKS unit carefully and avoid dropping the unit.
